Glasnevin Museum is hosting a range of Bloomsday celebrations for 2011, starting at 11.30am on June 16th with an interpretation of the Hades chapter of Ulysses on the cemetery grounds, followed by a lunchtime concert in the Tower Cafe by Joyce inspired music by Michael Holohan and Brian Dunning. In the afternoon at 2.30pm, there will be a Literary tour of Glasnevin Cemetery. This tour costs €6, or coupled with a visit to Glasnevin Museum, €10. For those who have to work on Bloomsday, this tour will be repeated on June 19th at 3.30pm.
