The winner of Emerging Fiction Winner was Eileen Casey with her story 'Macaw' . Afric McGlinchy won the Emerging Poetry Award with her two poems two poems 'Do not lie to a lover' & 'Under the heart, a horseshoe shape' .The overall New Irish Writer 2011 Award went to Siobhán Mannion. Sebastian Barry was inducted into the Hennessy Hall of Fame.
